Tokusei Club is a playground for new, high-leverage ideas that cut out the noise in an increasingly noisy world.

In this world where ideas are free and execution is cheap, innovator's dilemma is a process that happens not on the timescale of years, but in a matter of months or weeks. Here are three things we believe to be true about this brave, new world:

• The era of big teams is over. Long live tiny teams. The rate at which a team iterates slows at quadratic rate. A high-quality team must be seen as a vector sum of its members, and their key differentiator will be their shared context and conviction.
• Enduring products are made by people that directly depend on them, every single day. As the distance between the maker and the user widens, the rate at which a product improves drops off dramatically. Only by using the product can someone begin to truly care about it. The best products happen when the maker is the user, and when they build for themselves first and foremost.
• The narrower the focus, the better. The best products are built with a certain particularity or kodawari that necessarily narrows its scope, in such a way that the maker can deeply care about every single aspect of the experience.
